We care for our brides’ gowns and never outsource the work. Our team of in-house wedding dress experts closely inspect every garment that passes through our doors and we customize every treatment to ensure every stain is removed.
We focus on trouble areas such as dirty hemlines and ‘invisible’ stains like champagne. Our staff receives regular training in not only the latest fabric care techniques, but also fashion trends from top bridal designers like Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, and Monique L’Huillier.
We offer more than basic bridal gown cleaning: our exceptional preservation process will ensure your gown is ready for future generations to wear down the aisle. We use a process originally developed for the Smithsonian museum to carefully treat and store your gown. After cleaning, we fold the gown with layers of acid-free tissue to protect the gown’s form and prevent future blemishes or crease marks.
The gown is then wrapped in acid-free muslin and topped with a dust cover. This presentation allows the gown to breathe while protecting the textile from light and mildew. Finally, we include an acid-free preservation chest (with a special window for you to view your gown at any time), as well as special gloves for handling.
All Door To Door gown preservations carry a warranty backed by the National Association of Wedding Gown Specialists. Return your preserved bridal gown to any of hundreds of participating Certified Wedding Gown Specialists, and they will inspect and press the gown at no charge. Please note: proper handling and storage must be observed to take advantage of this offer.
