Cutting the Ribbon on Door To Door’s All Electric Delivery Fleet

At Door to Door, there are two ways we typically see our clients. If it’s not in one of our ten storefronts, it’s usually a visit from our sparkling delivery fleet. We’re proud to announce an exciting new look for that fleet, serving from Palos Verdes to Malibu and east to Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Brentwood.

Starting in April 2026, all our dry cleaning delivery vans are 100% electric. South Bay residents (including our very own CEO Sajid Veera) have been hip to the benefits of EVs for some time, and we’re delighted to join the electrified commercial vehicle revolution. State Senator Ben Allen dropped by our Santa Monica store to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony, and to see firsthand how we’re leading a delivery transformation.

Having lived in and served the South Bay community for decades, we understand the importance of sustainability and have long strived to set a positive example. Door To Door was one of Southern California’s first GreenEarth cleaners, and we’re also certified by the Green Business Bureau. Maybe you’ve seen our team out collecting debris from Los Angeles beaches on Earth Day in the past.

Preserving the environment isn’t a one-time event, it’s a commitment to examine all aspects of our business. We believe our revamped delivery fleet will save thousands of tons of carbon emissions each year, while improving the efficiency of our routes at the same time. You can expect the same convenient home service to go along with those reduced tailpipe emissions.

“There is no mandated or regulatory burden from the authorities to electrify our fleet,” Veera says. “The reason we chose to electrify was to be good stewards of our environment. We want to look at what we’re leaving behind for the next generation.”

And of course our commitment to sustainability doesn’t end with the new electric fleet. Door to Door continues to beta test green innovations across all areas of our business, from reducing disposible plastics to pioneering bio-safe cleaning agents.
